How to use Zapier for Kajabi and Hubspot integration

Updated: Dec 4, 2022

Zapier is an app that allows you to connect between any app events so it can perform repetitive tasks automatically.

For example, when you add a "New Purchase" to your account on Kajabi, Zappier will "Create or Update Contact" instantly on Hubspot.

  • About Hubspot

HubSpot’s CRM platform has all the tools and integrations you need for marketing, sales, content management, and customer service. Each product in the platform is powerful alone, but the real magic happens when you use them together.

  • About Kajabi

Kajabi empowers you to create all kinds of content to showcase what you know best, including online courses, coaching programs, podcasts, memberships, and more.

*Remember to have accounts in both apps.

There are some triggers and actions that Zapier suggests for you:

In Hubspot, you can choose many different triggers such as: New Company, New Contact, New Deal and New Email Event, .. etc.

And choose the action you want to perform in Kajabi: Create a Form Submission, Revoke Access to an Offer, Grant Access to an Offer., etc.

It will have a meta description for any actions or triggers for choosing the one to fill up the user's requirement.

Step-by-step to use Zap for connecting Hubspot + Kajabi

  • Step 1: Authenticate Hubspot And Kajabi

After you sign in for both apps, then go to https://zapier.com/apps/hubspot/integrations/kajabi and scroll down to this section, click "Connect Kajabi + Hubspot".

Zap will auto-combine the apps for you easily to make a command.

  • Step 2: Pick one trigger in one of those apps you need in Zappier, and then it will activate automatically.

In this section below, you will have a list of events that can be triggered. For example, I choose "New Contact".

Click "Sign-in" to connect to Hubspot.

Choose an account for authenticating in Hubspot.

When you set up a trigger, choose "Additional properties to retrieve", for example, I choose the "Date of birth" and "Company Size".

Zap will auto-test the trigger to make sure the setup is correct. Remember, it always needs to do this step before moving to any section further.

In the next section, you can move on to the results.

  • Step 3: Choose a resulting action from the other app.

Repeat the setup as you do in the first application.

You will have a list of events that can be triggered. For example, I choose "Create Form Submission".

Then, when set up in the Hubspot section, you will need to fill in "Contact Name", "Contact Information", " Contact Email", "Default Form",..etc.

Let Zapier test the action before you publish your zaps. You can skip this test if you want to.

  • Step 4: Finishing the Zap

It will always ask you to publish your Zap for executing tasks automatically in the future. You can cancel or change the Zaps at any time.

Publishing the Zaps will automatically connect whenever any events are triggered.
